Responsibilities

We are seeking a curious, driven, top-performing Business Intelligence Sales Consultant to join the Health Data Services team and support our Vantage Platform. This person would help current customers with new services, expand our current footprint across the portfolio, and hunt new opportunities within the life sciences space.  The role would support current Consulting and Engagement teams to manage critical activities for book-of-business management, customer planning, and hunting new opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with HDS Principals and Engagement teams to prioritize & scope sales planning requirements for the Vantage Product Line and Health Data Services Portfolio. This includes customer targeting and segmentation, book-of-business management, customer planning and hunting new opportunities.
  • Drive account planning for retention across current portfolio
  • Work with sales and account teams cross functionally for successful account growth
  • Identify key stakeholders and leadership that could leverage new services across the life sciences industry and schedule demonstrations.
  • Drive basic HDS capabilities discussions for the Vantage Platform driving new SaaS, BI, and Data Sales
  • Serve as a thought leader and consultant across the organization in all aspects of sales planning insights (book-of-business management, customer planning, and hunting new opportunities).

 

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in Sales and Technology Consulting
  • Strong experience scheduling new meetings and presenting to customers via Webinar and in person
  • Strong communication skills and ability to drive new opportunities in a consultative manner
  • Familiarity with Symphony Health’s Technology and Data offerings

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Demonstrated experience driving new approaches to complex business problems from a technology perspective.
  • Innate curiosity and the ability to distill complex data sets & analyses into easy-to-understand insights & recommendations for various audiences.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple customers and a complex pipeline to scale
  • Ability to function effectively in a highly-matrixed work environment; w/ strong cross-functional team collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to adapt quickly to shifting business priorities and ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Experience working with customers to identifying reporting challenges, gaps in business processes, and driving timely resolution

Knowledge Required

  • Experience in Sales and Technology Consulting
  • Deep experience of Microsoft Office Suite required including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Advanced skills and experience in client interaction, sales, and identifying opportunities.
